This charming historic 100+ year old miner's cottage has been lovingly restored with modern farmhouse chic. The home is one block away from old town Louisville known for their restaurants, coffee shops, small business and retail shops. Its a short walk to the farmers market and a great location the Street Faire, the annual music festival Friday nights during the summer. RTD busses pick up right outside the house. It's 15 minutes to Boulder by car and 30 minutes to Denver.

Good to know

The house has two bedrooms, each with a private bathroom. The master has a shower and the queen has a tub. The beds have comfy memory foam feather free mattresses. The small but well equipped kitchen, complete with fridge, microwave, drip coffee maker, gas stove and oven has plenty of space to cook meals during your stay. The kitchen counter seats 4. There is a comfy couch in the living room and a mounted smart tv with access to Youtube TV. We are happy to provide a pack and play and high chair. Both are available upon request.

House Rules

1. BEFORE BOOKING be aware that THIRD PARTY BOOKINS are PROHIBITED. If you are not going to be staying here, you can't make a reservation for anyone else under your personal account. 2. Unregistered guests are a violation of Air Bnb terms of service. No surprise VISITORS. If you would like to bring a visitor over, let us know in advance so we can authorize it. 3. We highly recommend that our guests obtain traveler's insurance for their trip. This helps to safeguard your trip for any delays, interruptions and cancellations due to weather, COVID or any unforeseen events. Please do your research and make a determination based on your specific travel needs. 4. To maintain a safe and fun environment, there is a STRICT NO PARTYING, NO SMOKING/NO DRUGS policy (including vaping). Be respectful towards the neighbors and keep the noise down, especially between 10pm and 8am. 5. Violation of our no smoking/vaping policy, including the use of marajuana WILL result in a $500 fine and a bad review. 6. Please be respectful! At the end of your stay please put things back the way you found them and leave all areas CLEAN AND TIDY. The booked guests agree to reimburse and/or compensate the host, through the Air Bnb security deposit for any damages, extra cleaning and/or losses caused at any time during their stay at the property. 7. If traveling in the winter months (November to April), please note that the driveway and roads in town may be snow packed and an adequate 4wd car or 2wd car with snow tires may be necessary to navigate the area. We have a snow removal company that comes and plows the driveway when it snows 3 or more inches. Snow removal by the guests will be necessary on the stairs, walkways and at the bottom of the driveway when the town plow comes by. Please be prepared! 8. As per town and county ordinance, No fires are allowed ANYWHERE on the property including the deck and yard. 9. Late check out can sometimes be provided, but please inquire in advance. If you arrive earlier than your check in time, without the host's permission, you will be charged overstay fees. If we can accommodate, there will be an additional charge of $75. 10. The property has a video camera placed outside the front door. The camera is motion-activated and passive surveillance footage remains private and may be used for liability reasons and to monitor occupancy, weather and other policies noted here. If does not infringe upon the expectation of privacy in highly visible areas of the property. To disable or obscure the camera is prohibited and may result in cancellation of your reservation. 11. Guests may not receive mail or packages at the house or give the address to any companies or in any way communicate that it is their residence without the express written consent from the host. Any unauthorized mail will be returned to sender. Guests cannot register or hold business meetings on the property without the express written consent and authorization from the host. 12. If you have a complaint about the property, maintenance or cleaning, you are granting us permission to enter the property to address the issue. We will coordinate with you a good time to come over. 13. If there is an suspicion of smoking of any type in the house it will be treated as a violation of the no smoking/vaping policy and appropriate action will be taken, including additional fees and a bad review. 14. Noncompliance of these house rules may result in cancellation of your reservation, forfeiture of your security deposit, eviction from the premises and possibly other additional fees and penalties. By booking this space, you agree that you have read and acknowledged these house rules and you give your consent that you will abide by them!

Louisville is an eclectic neighborhood nestled between Boulder (10 miles away) and Denver (25 miles away) and is often ranked by MONEY as Best Places to Live. Charming old town is steps away with plenty of coffee shops, dining options and small retail shops. During the summer there are outdoor concerts and a lively farmer's market. The house has easy access to biking and hiking trails.

Guest Access

The house and front porch are private! The house next door (722) share a part of the back yard. There is a private dining area out back too! The houses are rather close by so you may meet them during your stay! They’re renting too!

The place had everything that one would need and then some. It was immaculate and very comfortable. Brian was very responsive. The location was on a quiet street, but a block away from wonderful shops and restaurants as well as a 20 min drive to Boulder's main shopping and dining district. It exceeded our expectations and we will definitely be back!

An adorable and very well appointed home. Historic, but with all the modern amenities you’d want. Location is perfect, a two minute walk to all downtown Louisville has to offer, but still incredibly peaceful at night. Can’t wait to be back!

Brian’s home was perfect for our home away from home for Thanksgiving trip visiting our son, daughter in law and grand baby in Broomfield. Stayed with our other son and daughter in law. Place was comfy cozy. Very walkable to all the food, coffee and shops of Louisville. Town was very festive for the holidays. Easy access to Boulder and Broomfield. Kitchen was well stocked with quality pots, pans and utensils. If traveling with others and need your own space this may be a little tight but for us it was perfect! Thank you Brian for sharing!

I love a small town feel close to a bigger city. Being able to walk to get great coffee, breakfast, dinner without the hustle of the city or concerns for safety (cars, etc), made this place exactly what it said online and what we had hoped. Loved the location, the cute cottage, the responsiveness of the team. Would definitely stay again.

One of my favorite Airbnb's I've stayed in. If you are looking for a cozy cottage walkable to the sweet downtown of Louisville, Colorado then you'll love this place. Hosts were so so responsive and helpful while I was planning a trip. Would definitely stay here again.

Free guest parking is available on the street. There is a bus stop right outside the house with easy access to Boulder (RTD DASH). Boulder is 10 minutes away and Denver is 25 minutes away.
